HANNIBAL (WGEM) - The Great River Honor Flight announced that their 78th mission will take off from Hannibal on Sept. 11.

GRHF officials said this flight will take 30 veterans, one of which served during the Korea era, 26 during the Vietnam era and three who served between or after those conflicts.

They represent the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Army National Guard.

The trip will follow the same itinerary GRHF has used over the past 16 years.

The departure and return on Sept. 11 will be from Hannibal LaGrange University. The bus will depart at 2:15 a.m. to Lambert Field in St. Louis.

They will board their flight to Baltimore and then to the capital, where they will visit the Vietnam Wall, Korea Memorial, WWII Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Iwo Jima Memorial, Air Force Memorial and
