QUINCY (WGEM) - Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is set to open in Quincy next week.

According to the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce, a grand opening event will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 9.

The burger restaurant will open at the former Steak ‘n Shake location at 3819 Broadway Street.

Previously , Freddy’s officials said the restaurant would open in mid-August.
