CARBONDALE, Ill. (WSIL) -- Carbondale police responded to a possible home invasion on East Elm Street on September 2.

Officers said they arrested two Carbondale residents, Laquisha Randolph, 31, and Dache Thomas-Kidd, 20, following a personal dispute at the victim's home. Police said Randolph displayed a knife while entering the home and Kidd received a minor injury.

Randolph was arrested for criminal trespass to residence and assault and was taken to the Jackson County Jail. Thomas-Kidd, after receiving treatment for her injury, was arrested for criminal trespass and released pending a court appearance.

Authorities encourage anyone with information about the incident to contact the police department. The investigation is ongoing.
