LANSING, MI – A Michigan man accused of voting twice during the August 2024 primary election has entered a guilty plea.

Frank Prezzato, 68, of St. Clair Shores, pleaded guilty on Wednesday, Sept. 3, to one count of voting absentee and in-person, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said in a news release.

Nessel’s office plans to dismiss a second count of offering to vote more than once at Prezzato’s Oct. 22 sentencing, court records show.

Prosecutors accused Prezzato of voting in-person at his local polling location on Election Day in St. Clair Shores after he had already submitted an absentee ballot for the same election.

Both his in-person and absentee votes were counted in the primary election, Nessel’s office said.
