A terrifying first day

Just three weeks ago, what should have been a routine ride to school turned into a traumatic ordeal for Hunter. The teen was riding his e-bike to STEAM Academy, located inside a church in Deltona, when he attempted to cross at the intersection of Howland Boulevard and Roble Lane.

Moments later, Hunter found himself pinned underneath a car.

“To be in that situation was really traumatizing for me,” Hunter told WESH 2.
