RED BANK, S.C. — Some Lexington County homeowners are expressing some concern about a proposed sewer line that could run directly through wetlands on their property.
The line is being considered as a potential option as part of Mungo Homes’ planned Arrants Pond subdivision along Highway 6. In emails obtained by News19, property owners wrote to Lexington County officials and said they were surprised to learn the project could require easements across their land. The residents said in their letter they feared potential contamination if the line were ever damaged.
