(FOX40.COM) — The Valley Air District has issued an Air Quality Alert with the National Weather Service due to several wildfires that are producing smoke across the region on Wednesday.

The district advises residents impacted by smoke to stay indoors to minimize exposure to particulate matter emissions.
The district encourages residents to utilize these health-protective actions: • Create a clean air room • Stay indoors • Use portable air cleaners or high-efficiency filters to remove fine particles from the air • Consider visiting a Clean Air Center.
