Multiple wildfires continue to burn throughout Oregon.

Thunderstorms have brought multiple new wildfire starts to areas in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest.

Weather and terrain continue to challenge fire personnel working on the Marks Creek Fire, and the Emigrant Fire south of Oakridge continues to burn and remains 0% contained.

A new fire start was reported on the evening of Sept. 4, in Wasco and Wheeler counties, where the Black Rock Fire has quickly grown to 3,500 acres and is a threat to structures in the area.

More closures were brought due to the Marks Creek Fire. Many red flag warnings are in effect for areas with wildfires.
