TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Valdosta State football is 1-0 in the Graham Craig era after a gutsy comeback win against Clark Atlanta in Birmingham. They’re now a top 15 program in the country, and ranked as high as seventh, but there is no time for the Blazers to pat themselves on the back.

Valdosta State is back on the road this weekend, their second of three straight road tests to open the season, heading north to Charlotte to take on Johnson C. Smith.

The HBCU power is fresh off rolling Morehouse College last weekend and is coming off an 8-2 campaign in 2024. Coach Craig knows it’ll be a stiff road test for the Blazers, and especially for his offense.
