Costco shoppers were outraged when recent news surfaced online .

Fans of the discount warehouse were disappointed to hear its regular $65 membership would no longer allow them access to the store from 9am to 10am on weekdays.

But we have some great news for Aussie shoppers.

With the implemented changes allowing exclusive shopping time for Executive Members each day, 9honey can confirm these changes are not being implemented in Australia.

"The recent news regarding exclusive Executive Member access from 9am to 10am only applies to Costco warehouses in the United States and Canada," a spokesperson for Costco Australia confirms.

"This initiative is not applicable to Costco Australia.
