GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) - Two-year-old Salvadore Iadicicco, aka "Lil Sal", from Grand Junction just got his first big break. The 27-month-old toddled to the top 1% out of over 180,000 children nationwide competing for the title, "Toddler of the Year".

The online competition, hosted by Mario Lopez, raises money towards Toys-for-Tots, a non-profit that gives out gifts to underprivileged children for the holidays. The triumphant toddler who wins the contest will also receive $25,000 and other prizes.
