GRAND JUNCTION Colo. (KREX)- Five new sculptures are now on display in downtown Fruita as part of the city's annual rotating art program, Heart of Fruita.

The 2025 selections were created by three local artists: Pavia Justinian, Jeff Bates and Trevor Hall.

The Heart of Fruita program began a few years ago as an initiative from the city’s Arts and Culture Board. The goal was to create a public art exhibit similar to Grand Junction’s "Art on the Corner," bringing rotating sculptures to Fruita’s downtown.

“Fruita is definitely well known for a lot of different art in the downtown area, but we wanted to bring in some new art every year,” said Parks and Recreation director Marc Mancuso.
