A fire in Pemberton, New Jersey , caused multiple people to be taken to the hospital with burn injuries on Wednesday night, officials confirmed to NBC10.

The fire was reported at around 8:30 p.m. on Chippawa Trail, officials said.

Two medical choppers were flown to the scene to treat multiple burn victims, officials said.

SkyForce10 flew over the scene to see several police and fire vehicles still at the scene, but the flames appeared put out.

The condition of the injured is not yet known.

A cause of the fire is also not yet known, but officials are investigating.
