FORT MILL, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- York County's boil water advisory for Fort Mill and parts of Tega Cay was lifted Wednesday, days after putting out the notice.
But some business owners say they weren't told about the advisory until yesterday.
County officials expected to lift Sunday's advisory on Thursday, but they received results showing no dangerous E. coli bacteria in the water late Wednesday afternoon.
One local business owner is happy to be back to normal.
"We're making custard as you can see," said Fort Mill Whit's Frozen Custard owner David Berlin. He was excited to finally take the county's boil water advisory notice off his front door Wednesday afternoon.
