JENNINGS, La. (KPLC) - The Jennings Bulldogs and the Iowa Yellowjackets, two of the premier programs in Southwest Louisiana, go head-to-head Friday night. Jennings head coach Bret Fuselier knows exactly what his team is up against.

“One thing about Iowa is they’re kind of the standard right now of Southwest Louisiana,” Fuselier said. “If you look at the success that they’ve had in recent years, you know Coach Johns has done a great job of building that program.”

He added, “Their kids are tough, and they have some athletic guys. So that, paired together, they do a great job. They’re hard to defend and they’re going to be a tough test for us.”
