CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Hamilton County Common Pleas Court judges and magistrates are scheduled to meet Thursday to vote on probation substations in the city of Cincinnati.
Community leaders and residents say they have been told all four substations will shut down as part of the county’s new way to supervise violent criminals to prevent them from reoffending.
The court’s administrative judge, Wende Cross, called the hastily arranged meeting for 15 minutes at lunchtime on Thursday at Room 409, according to an email she sent the rest of the judges.
“I am asking EVERYONE to be present as there will be a voting matter about the substations as well as a notification of a personnel change, among other matters of discussion,” her email states, according to a copy obtained by FOX19 NOW.
