A man with a prior conviction for manslaughter is now facing new charges following a stabbing incident in a Canadian Tire parking lot last month.

Nathan Piche, 33, has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and attempted murder.

On Aug. 28, 2025, at approximately 9:28 a.m., police responded to the report of an assault outside the Canadian Tire in the area of 96 Street and 162 Avenue
