SALISBURY — Salisbury’s girls tennis team won exciting matches at 1 and 2 singles and beat South Rowan 9-0 in South Piedmont Conference action on Tuesday.

Salisbury’s Meredith Williams won 6-4, 4-6, (12-10) against South’s No. 1 Sophie Steedley.
Salisbury’s Lola Koontz won 7-6 (7-4), 6-3 against Audrey Daniel at No. 2 singles.
Anna Kate Goodman, Gabbi Fatovic, Campbell Aron and Mary Masters Goodman won for the Hornets (5-1, 5-0) in the other singles matches.
Williams-Anna Kate Goodman, Koontz-Fatovic and Aron-Mary Masters Goodman were winning doubles combinations.
