Multiple Suspects Commit Smash-and-Grab Robbery at Sherman Oaks Jewelry Store

A jewelry store in Sherman Oaks was the target of a smash-and-grab robbery Wednesday.

Officers responded to Kristoff’s Jewelers at the Westfield Fashion Square mall in the 14000 block of Riverside Drive, between Hazeltine and Woodman avenues, at approximately 4:37 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department and NBC4.

Video of the aftermath showed multiple glass showcases shattered inside the jewelry store, according to NBC4.

KCAL reported that five suspects were last seen in a gray Chevrolet Stingray in the area.

A vehicle, possibly connected to the robbery, was later located in Van Nuys by officers, NBC4 reported, citing information from the LAPD.

It was unclear what exactly was taken from the store.
