A six-year-old boy named Clever Gelesomu has died in a road accident in Ntchisi. The incident occurred when the vehicle he was traveling in collided with another vehicle, causing it to overturn.

Clever was among several children riding on top of a Toyota Hilux pickup truck loaded with sand en route to Ng’ombe trading center. As they approached Kadango Village, the driver, Blessings Kang’ombe, attempted to overtake a Mitsubishi Canter lorry driven by Harrod Mombera.

Unfortunately, the overtaking maneuver led to a collision between the two vehicles, resulting in the Hilux overturning. Clever and other victims were rushed to Ntchisi district hospital, but Clever was pronounced dead upon arrival.
