Today is an Impact Day as our next cold front arrives to bring rain and a few thunderstorms, strong wind gusts and cool temperatures to western Pennsylvania.

Rain showers and storms will come to an end as we continue through the evening commute. Most of us will dry out by 7/8 p.m. with areas of dense fog possible tonight. Wind gusts will die down tonight after sunset except in the Laurel Highlands where those gusts could last into the first part of the night.

Friday night rain showers

Another system arrives late Friday into Saturday. A couple of showers may try to fire during high school games, but the bulk of the activity should hold off until games come to an end.
