CAITLIN CLARK has announced she is out for the rest of the WNBA season through injury.

The Indiana Fever star released a statement on Thursday night with the devastating news.

She has not played in the league since July 15.

The 2024 No1 pick has been limited to just 13 regular season games in 2025.

Clark has been struggling with a groin injury all year.

It is just her second campaign in the WNBA .

The 23-year-old revealed the news on social network site X.

"I had hoped to share a better update, but I will not be returning to play this season," she said.

"I spent hours in the gym every day with the singular goal of getting back out there, disappointed isn’t a big enough word to describe how I am feeling.

"I want to thank everyone who had my back through all the uncertainty.
