BLOOMINGTON — The closest Curt Cignetti got to flustered, in the aftermath of his Indiana football team’s 27-14 season-opening win against Old Dominion , probably came during his news conference Monday.

For the thick end of 13 minutes, Cignetti found himself at cross purposes with … himself, trying to parse the good of a 500-yard, three-turnover afternoon with the bad of anemic finishing, red-zone execution issues and multiple glaring defensive busts. Some of the same befuddled frustration that settled within his fanbase following Saturday’s game seemed to follow Cignetti into Kennesaw State week as well.
