DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A stretch of fall-like weather is in the forecast through the weekend.
Gusty winds and rumbles of thunder accompanied a cold front through Central Illinois Wednesday evening. Winds gusted to 35-45 mph in a few hometowns, but not a lot of rain fell.
In the wake of that front, sunshine returns today with highs in the low-to-mid-70s.
Another front Friday may kick off a few showers mainly across our southern hometowns. It'll also bring us breezy conditions and highs in the 60s to around 70°.
It'll be a dry weekend with highs in the low-to-mid-70s and lows in the 40s.
