CINCINNATI (WXIX) - There was no $1.4 billion jackpot winner in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing, but a $1 million ticket was sold in Ohio, according to the lottery’s website .

The numbers drawn Wednesday night were 3, 16, 29, 61, and 69. The Power Play was 22.

Saturday’s Powerball pot of gold has now swelled to $1.70 billion.

That’s the third-largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history, only behind the world-record $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot won on Nov. 7, 2022, and the $1.765 billion Powerball jackpot won on Oct. 11, 2023.

Both of those record-setting prizes were won in California, according to Powerball’s website.

Any player who wins the jackpot will have the choice of receiving the full prize amount in 29 annual payments or a lump sum payment estimated at $770.3 million.
