Tom Ellis has revealed that he has "no regrets" regarding his previous behaviour whilst married to his ex. The star, who featured in the BBC comedy Miranda, wed EastEnders legend Tamzin Outhwaite in 2006 following an introduction by James McAvoy. ‌

Nevertheless, their eight-year union came to an end in 2014 when they separated after she uncovered his affair with a colleague, leaving the Mel Owen star devastated. ‌

Tamzin and Tom are parents to two daughters, Flo, 17, and Marnie, 12. Yet Tom has now spoken about their marriage breakdown and confesses he harbours "no regrets". ‌

In a recent podcast appearance, he acknowledged that behind every past decision lay a purpose. "It's easy to say you regret things, but actually no, I don't regret anything," he said.
