POUGHKEEPSIE – Twenty-eight-year-old Tyler LeClerc, the martial arts instructor at LeClerc Martial Arts, is going to prison after pleading guilty to sexually abusing young girls.

Dutchess County Court Judge Jessica Segal sentenced the sex offender to 10 years in prison before a standing-room-only gallery on Wednesday as victims and their friends and family showed up by the dozen, seated across from LeClerc’s relatives, who have since closed all of their studios and moved to a southern state.

LeClerc was charged in a 42-count indictment that included six felony counts of criminal sexual act, one felony count of sexual abuse, 17 misdemeanor counts of forcible touching, and 18 misdemeanor counts of sexual abuse.
