The city of Lyndhurst and the Lyndhurst Police Foundation hosted the Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit at the Lyndhurst Municipal Complex from Aug. 28-30 for students, veterans and first responders.
The exhibit honors the nearly 3,000 people who died on Sept. 11, 2001 – including the 343 New York City firefighters who responded – and those affected by 9/11-related illnesses. The 83-foot tractor-trailer unfolds into an 1,100-square-foot display designed to educate students, pay tribute to first responders and bring the community together while highlighting the work of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
