The Cadillac Celestiq is a $400K masterpiece that redefines art

When Mark Mitchell, the first Michigan resident to receive a hand-built, ultra-luxury Cadillac Celestiq, accepted delivery, he purchased more than a vehicle.

His Celestiq, one of the first versions of the brand's first-ever all-electric sedan, offers a similar cultural cachet to purchasing a piece of fine art.

Accepting delivery last month at the Daxton Hotel, a 4-star luxury hotel he owns in Birmingham, Mitchell said, was a “very proudful moment for me.”
