AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Amarillo police say two burglary suspect are now in custody after being barricaded in a home in the City View area this morning.

There was a heavy police presence with a K9 unit at Western and Scotswood, in the City View area around 7 a.m.

SWAT officials on scene confirmed the suspect barricaded themselves in a home.

Officials say City View Elementary School is under a secured lock down, meaning all doors are locked. No visitors are allowed into the building at this time.

All doors leading outside or inside are locked. Extra police presence is currently around the school.
