A British woman who delivered her baby in her car in Mexico following "one enormous push" said her mother rushed to help and "caught" her newborn.
Emily Smith, 27, was at full term when labour began on May 15, 2025, at her home in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, where she lives with partner Stephen Spanias, 41, and their daughter Phoenix, two.
The mother-of-two, who relocated to Mexico from Cambridge in January 2023 for employment, remembers how her contractions started to "intensify rapidly".
