TANEY COUNTY, Mo. -- Western Taney County Fire Protection District firefighters put out a house fire in the late hours of Wednesday, Sept. 3.
In a social media post, WTCFPD says their fire stations responded to a fire at 902 Bee Creek Road near Branson at 10:38 p.m., where firefighters saw heavy smoke coming from the front of the house.
After working their way around the house, firefighters found that the kitchen was on fire. The fire also spread to the attic, but fire personnel were able to quickly control the fire before it spread further, staying on scene for about two hours.
All residents of the house had evacuated by the time WTCFPD arrived on scene, and there were no reported injuries.
