DALLAS — The Philadelphia Eagles made "a strong push" to trade for former Dallas Cowboys defensive star Micah Parsons this summer, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Schefter reported that the Eagles called the Cowboys to engage in a trade for Parsons, but Jerry Jones had no interest in trading Parsons within their own division, especially to the rival Eagles. Jones and company ultimately traded Parsons to another NFC foe donning green, albeit a different shade.
