The 2025 NFL season kicks off with a Thursday Night Football matchup between the Dallas Cowboy and the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, Sept. 4.

Week 1 for the Detroit Lions against their NFC North rival Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Sept. 7 is fast approaching, as well.

The Lions will hold their last Thursday practice before the 2025 regular season begins, with special teams coordinator Dave Fipp, defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard and offensive coordinator John Morton all speaking to the media before the practice session.
