Time for dance mode Bluey fans, something big is coming.

BBC Studios and The Walt Disney Company announced Thursday that the first-ever animated feature film for ’Bluey’, the beloved Emmy-winning animated series, is coming to theaters in 2027.

The show follows the adventures of a Blue Heeler puppy, her family and friends and explores themes centered on family life and growing up.

Critics have praised the show for its modern and positive depiction of family life, constructive parenting messages, and the role of Bandit as a positive father figure.

Following the global theatrical release, the film written and directed by ’Bluey’ creator Joe Brumm will stream on Disney+.
