A popular Brazilian influencer has been found dead in mysterious circumstances after disappearing during a jet ski ride with friends.

Jaqueline Barbosa Nascimento, 22, was found on Wednesday at the Jaguari dam in Igarata, in São Paulo, Brazil, after a three-day search.

She disappeared days earlier, but was identified by a relative when her body was recovered.

Now, the case has been registered as a suspicious death, and Jaqueline’s relatives say the two people with her on the jet ski gave ‘conflicting statements’.

Jaqueline had gone out with young people she had met at a party just weeks earlier.
