INDIANAPOLIS – More than 80 libraries from Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, and Texas will celebrate Family History Day on Friday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a free hybrid genealogy conference featuring top genealogical experts.

“From Clues to Kin: A Day of Genealogical Discovery” will broadcast pre-recorded lectures to all event locations and to virtual participants. Researchers are also invited to join in person at the History Center, located at the Marion Public Library, to network with other family history enthusiasts and to explore available local history resources.
