KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The City of Knoxville has arranged a community meeting, hoping to hear feedback on the city’s proposal to sell a portion of Chilhowee Park to the Emerald Youth Foundation. It comes after members of the Knoxville community pushed back against the city’s, and Mayor Indya Kincannon’s, handling of the sale.

A separate community meeting had already been announced, but city leaders said Thursday Kincannon had decided to reschedule it to Sept. 25 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to make it more available to people.
