EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - A woman was arrested early Wednesday morning after deputies found drugs inside her vehicle in unincorporated El Paso County.

According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were patrolling on Maxwell Street in the Stratmoor Valley area at 3:25 a.m. when they found an occupied blue Ford Focus.

Deputies approached the vehicle and reportedly saw three children, a woman and several pieces of drug paraphernalia inside. The woman, later identified as Kimberly Harris, 38, was asleep in the driver’s seat.

Deputies took Harris into custody without incident and removed the children from the vehicle before searching it. Deputies said during the search, they found additional paraphernalia, along with 0.1 grams of methamphetamine and 3.0 grams of heroin.
