ATLANTA — One of Fulton County's five Democratic Board of Commissioners members who have been held in contempt over not seating two Republican nominees to the county election board said early Wednesday morning he still won't vote to appoint them, rejecting the court's interpretation on what is required of the board.

Fulton County has been subjected to a $10,000-a-day fine — currently on pause while they appeal it — over the matter, with a judge having ruled the commission must (under the interpretation of the term "shall" as used in Georgia's laws on this matter) appoint the two nominees.

So far the two GOP nominees, Julie Adams and Jason Frazier, have not been appointed to the posts as Democratic members of the Board of Commissioners have objected to their nominations, calling them
