ATLANTA — Fulton County's Board of Commissioners has once again declined to name two Republicans to the county's election board.

"My vote will remain a no on election deniers," said Democratic commissioner Dana Barrett.

Republican Julie Adams is already on the county election board, seeking renomination.

A former Fulton election board chair told commissioners she had been a disruptive presence.

"We have the experience understanding that she cost taxpayers money. She is disruptive to the organization and kept the staff in a high state of disarray," said Cathy Woolard, a Democrat who was once president of the Atlanta City Council before leading Fulton's election board.

Republicans also want to name Jason Frazier to the board, described by his detractors as a 2020 election denier.
