QUINCY (WGEM) - In November, city officials announced an Amazon distribution center would be coming to Quincy.

Thursday, the city of Quincy will do their final inspection of the building.

Michael Seaver, director of Inspection and Enforcement for the City of Quincy, said over the last few weeks the contractor has been finishing the interior of the building. He said Thursday’s inspection will be at 9 a.m. and if all goes well, will be the last time the building is inspected.

“The purpose will be to look at the installation of all the equipment, the conveyer belts, things like that,” Seaver said. “Make sure egress is good and make sure nothing is really substantially changed from that last inspection.”
