North Augusta offensive lineman Malcolm Gaston has committed to Liberty University. The three-star senior chose the Flames over programs such as Georgia, Virginia Tech, and Florida.
Gaston, a native of South Carolina, felt at home amongst the Liberty staff, many of whom are also from there. Liberty being a Christian school also played a factor in the senior's decision. But maybe most important for Gaston, he decided on Liberty because of their willingness to let him play early on compared to the other programs that were recruiting him.
“Once I hit the ground there, I could really get things twisted up and I can get started running,” Gaston said.
