Coronation Street fans think they have 'worked out' what really happens to Betsy Swain - as it has been teased that she will be involved in a car accident.

Things are currently exciting for the Connor-Swains after Betsy's mum, Lisa Swain, popped the question to her girlfriend Carla Connor in a huge public display of affection.

After Carla's recent failed attempts to pop the question to the detective sergeant, it was during Wednesday's (September 3) episode of the ITV soap, that fans finally got what they were hoping for the couple, known lovingly as 'Swarla'.

Initially, Carla was in quite the mood when she headed into work at the Underworld factory, with Lisa still making it clear she was upset with her.
