MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) - Electric vehicle owners in the Magic City have a new spot to charge up.

Marketplace Foods near Taco Bell added eight Tesla charging spots.

Senior store director Zac Miller said the electric vehicle company initiated the construction and permits for the project.

Miller said the charging station is open around the clock.

He said it was exciting to add the amenity, so customers can now grocery shop and charge their vehicle.

“Cool to bring to the community, that we thought we could partner with. We had another location in Minnesota that we had Tesla charging stations, and they were interested in Minot, and it just so happens, it worked out here,” said Miller.

The charging station is located on the northwest corner of the store parking lot.
