KALAMAZOO, MI — Live music, football, art and a chance to celebrate recovery. There’s something for everyone this weekend in Kalamazoo.

For those that bleed brown and gold, nothing says fall quite like Western Michigan’s home football opener. Tailgating will no doubt be in full swing Saturday morning and afternoon.

On the field, the Broncos (0-1) will look to bounce back from their season-opening loss to Michigan State in East Lansing as they play host to North Texas (1-0).

The Mean Green are coming off a 51-0 win over Lamar as they prepare to enter Waldo Stadium at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 6. Tickets for the game are available at WMUBroncos.com . The game will also be broadcast on ESPN+.

Prior to the game, Yung Gravy will perform a free concert at 1:30 p.m. outside the WMU Student Rec
