The latest in a series of cold fronts is poised to move through the area this weekend. Ahead of the front some showers and storms can be expected with some potential for a few stronger storms. Widespread severe weather though is not expected.
For tonight a few showers or storms will hang on through early evening. With the loss of daytime heating they'll fade away overnight. Lows will be in the upper 60s.
Friday starts off dry and for many areas it will stay that way through the afternoon. A few isolated showers or storms may pop up, but the coverage of rain looks sparse. Any storms that fire up could potentially be strong to severe with gusty wind and hail possible. Otherwise expect partly cloudy and hot conditions with afternoon highs reaching the low 90s.
