A Little Egg Harbor Township man admitted Monday possessing more than 100,000 pieces of child pornography, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said.

Alfred Annibal, 77, faces up to seven years in prison and must register as a sex offender under Megan's Law as part of the plea agreement. A sentencing date has not been determined.

Authorities began investigating after the State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Annibal was uploading child pornography, the Prosecutor's Office said Thursday in a news release.

Investigators identified an IP address associated with a Little Egg Harbor home and determined Annibal was downloading child porn, the Prosecutor's Office said.
