A former Hamilton Township schools supervisor already accused of sexually assaulting three girls over a three-year period in Atlantic County had his detention hearing in Ocean County, where he allegedly assaulted a fourth girl, postponed Thursday after prosecutors requested an adjournment.

Darnell Williams, 34, of Whiting in Manchester Township, is scheduled to appear before an Ocean County Superior Court judge Tuesday.

He's charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Williams briefly appeared before Judge Wendel Daniels from the Atlantic County jail, where he was ordered held by Judge Joseph Levin following a detention hearing Sept. 8. He spoke only to confirm that he understood why the proceeding was moved.
