MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — Emergency crews rescued an injured man who got stuck while working on top of a stadium light fixture at a Mesa spring training field on Thursday morning.

Mesa police say a worker was stuck between 120 to 150 feet in the air at Hohokam Stadium , the Athletics’ spring training facility.

According to Mesa Fire, the employee was changing light bulbs on the stadium lights when he was struck, leaving him with a gash on his head. Firefighters say faulty harness equipment may have caused the wound, leaving the worker unable to get down on his own.
